Robert,
No worries. I do think it’s a cool project, and I don’t mean to offer criticism, only encouragement for moving toward sustainable practices. I’d like to hear more about the factors you guys have incorporated. Reused material is mostly an unheralded approach to commercial renovations. Are you reusing structural material that came out of the old building?

Dan…would be happy to discuss. Many factors have been considered (reduced material, reused material, efficient products, live/work, etc.), but we/they certainly aren’t on top of it all.

Cool time-lapse presentation on the roof. By the way, the contractors on this project don’t seem to have sustainability in mind, Every time I see the dumpster out back, it’s loaded with stuff that really shouldn’t be headed to the landfill (buckets, fiberglass insulation, etc.). Anyway to influence them?
