Today David Boatwright, artist and master muralist, painted an exterior sign for 301 King. We decided to leave the back exterior “as is”…..with layers of paint, old Karesh Men’s Wear sign and graffiti….as a bit of tribute to what’s been there before. Spent hours this weekend building furniture….or more accurately, assembling furniture. While the IKEA stuff looks good and comes at a relative bargain, it does get old piecing this stuff together. I was reminded by a post made on the BI blog a few years back during an IKEA build…the 6 stages of IKEA assembly.
